Pure Biofuel Director joins UKPC board

We are happy to announce that our MD Rupert Ralston has been elected to the Board of Directors of the UK Pellet Council. As Managing Director of Pure Biofuel (PBF), the first UK Ltd Wood Pellets company to also have a Russia office as a supplier of both fuel and animal support products, he has guided the company from a start up to a major contributor to the constantly growing market both within the UK and Europe.

Rupert Ralston & Boris Borisenko

Rupert along with his business partner Boris Borisenko are constantly striving to find the best products possible and can be found constantly talking, meeting and visiting many current and potentially new factories, to show the industry what opportunities there are with the demand for a non-fossil based product to be made more available to the British and European customers.

Rupert elected in March 2019 for 3 members of the PBF team to attended the WHA and UK Pellet Council conference and AGM’s as well as all staying for the Quality Management meeting on the third day to make sure every aspect of information could be absorbed and thus played back into the industry to make the Wood Pellet industry continue on its growth path.

Pure Biofuel is not only a family company from its two owners being related but also by all the staff being made to feel part of a family rather than employees. As a business entrepreneur Rupert has lead the company from the front never asking his staff to perform a task that he personally wouldn’t / hasn’t already performed himself during the company’s growth.

With this said all the staff would like to congratulate Rupert on his election and we are sure he will do an excellent job for the council as he has done for the company.
